All students will be required to take tests at school in-person, but we will be using an alternating schedule for in-person testing days in an effort to maintain social distancing on our campuses.
TCAP assessments are administered to Tennessee students in grades 2-12, and Rutherford County Schools is required to administer these assessments to all students, which this year includes both traditional in-person students and distance-learners.
These assessments provide invaluable information concerning skill attainment, student mastery of standards, and helps us and identify learning gaps.
The 2020-2021 TCAP assessments are administered on paper and pencil only, and so the students are required to take the tests in-person.
Rutherford County Schools will be providing distance learning students specific dates in which they will come to school to take these assessments in-person. Schools will use an alternating schedule to reduce the number of students who are on campus.
We will follow up with you with additional details in the near future. Attached is the schedule we will use for testing.
If you have questions regarding testing, feel free to contact Mrs. Baker, Assistant Principal.
