Voluntary Pre-K Registration

Voluntary PreK registration opens February 2, 2026. Priority registration is until April 15, 2026.
 
Rutherford County Schools (RCS) Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) Programs are designed to provide early childhood education to children who turn four years old by August 15th. This program prioritizes children from families with financial need, ensuring that those who may benefit the most have access to quality early education.
Do you need assistance with registering? Parent support will be available on Wednesday, February 25th from 8:00am-2:00pm and 5:00-6:30pm during our K-2 literacy night.
 
Documents Needed for Registration:
  • Child's birth certificate
  • Proof of residence (utility bill, lease/mortgage)
  • Proof of income (paystub or W-2) for ALL adults in home
