About Me

I am excited to return to Blackman Elementary School after many years!  I was a member of the original faculty in 2001 so I know what a special place this is!  In those 23 years I have also taught elementary physical education in Williamson County as well as teacher education at MTSU.  I completed my PhD in Health and Human Performance in 2021 at MTSU. 

I believe in quality physical education that allows students to grow in their knowledge and skills so that they value and enjoy being physically active.

 

My husband and I have two sons.  We love to spend our time cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, traveling, and being with family and friends.
