About Me

Hello!  My name is Rebecca Falcone, and this is my seventh year teaching at Blackman Elementary School.  I love teaching and know it's my purpose in life. I can't wait to be your child's teacher this year where we will develop many important skills for future learning.  I began teaching in St. Petersburg, FL where I taught first grade and kindergarten for ten years.  My family lived in Florida for 18 years before moving back to Middle Tennessee to be closer to the grandparents.  I have two children, Patrick, who's 17 and attends Blackman High, and Maria, who's 10 and in 5th grade here at BLE.  My husband, Paul, is originally from Florida, but is loving what Tennessee has to offer.  I love to garden, cook, travel, and go antiquing when not teaching.   One of my favorite past times is hiking which I enjoy with my family.  I can't wait to get this school year started and see what great things we can accomplish together in first grade!
